Most of the information you receive about the learner’s permit test will come from people who have proceeded past that test to the permit, some will have probationary licensing and most will have a current drivers licence. Licensed drivers, who are well past the learner's test are likely to tell you all will be okay, and you are likely to pass. The statistical records say the opposite. About half fail learner’s permit test first time.
We believe there is merit in people (you) working together to achieve the level of knowledge required and improve your prospects of passing the learner’s permit test first time without difficulty and stress. We will be arranging a club or group for people in your position to prepare to get their learner’s permit. We expect the process to last a large part of your 15th year. The activities will be a combination of enjoyment and learning. Time will be spent playing Aussie Smartlane with others in the same position as you. In the last month or so before your test, a close focus on the questions and answers for the learner’s permit will occur. We believe, working together, playing Aussie Smartlane, acquiring the knowledge and building your reassurance about the road rules and the information will be effective.
You may not realise it, but your learners learning phase will be the time when you acquire a large portion and the core of your driving and road use theory for your whole life.
If you think you would be interested in being a part of a group like this, make contact, preferably by e-mail. Also if you are interested in participating in some game trials we wish to conduct in March, make contact. We look forward to hearing from you.
