Welcome to Diane Southwell Jewellery Academy. We provide precious metal and gemstone tuition in a range of courses to suit everyone. Certificates of achievement are provided upon the completion of the course so you can proudly demonstrate your learned skills.

Your tutor has 25 years experience in jewellery design and manufacture, a Diploma in gemmology and has operated a successful tutoring academy in South Australia for 5 years and is a guest lecturer nationally.

Since 2006 we have extended our resources to include guest lecturers, to date including a gem setting expert and an enamellist, for unique, limited placement, setting courses. Preliminary courses are required to attend gem setting as soldering skills are necessary.
As a guide, we use sterling silver, titanium, 9ct, 18ct gold and gemstones in the courses.
